Thanks you for reporting bugs. The issue you describe doesn't look to be
the same as this one: please open a new bug report, or find another that
describes your problem. In your case, gnome-panel is likely to have
crashed, so the bug is against gnome-panel package, not compiz.
Note that if you're not able to reproduce this crash, reporting it may
be pointless, since you won't be able to give more information about it.
Anyway, please open a report if you think it is useful/needed.
