So after a little investigation, the issue is that openwsman/wsmancli have not being rebuilt against a newer version of libcurl. However, openwsman FTBFS due to a newer version of openssl 1.11.
This requires: 1. new upstream release of openwsman patched to build with openssl 1.11 2. new upstream version of wsmancli using the newer openswman version 3. Updates in MAAS to use the new format of how wsmancli communciates with AMT. ** Changed in: maas Importance: Undecided => Critical ** Changed in: maas Status: New => Triaged ** Changed in: maas Milestone: None => 2.4.0alpha2 ** Changed in: maas Assignee: (unassigned) => Andres Rodriguez (andreserl) ** Changed in: maas Status: Triaged => In Progress ** Also affects: openwsman (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: wsmancli (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: openwsman (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Andres Rodriguez (andreserl) ** Changed in: wsmancli (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Andres Rodriguez (andreserl) ** Changed in: openwsman (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Critical ** Changed in: wsmancli (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Critical ** Changed in: openwsman (Ubuntu) Status: New => Triaged ** Changed in: wsmancli (Ubuntu) Status: New => In Progress ** Changed in: openwsman (Ubuntu) Status: Triaged => In Progress -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1754012 Title: wsman dependency on older curl will cause issues in bionic for maas To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/maas/+bug/1754012/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
