Binary package hint: openoffice.org
To reproduce the crash, I had to attempt selecting either Print... or
Printer Settings... from the dropdown menu under File. I could select
the Print *button* and get it to print directly. I was able to adjust
default settings from outside the OpenOffice Writer program itself by
going to System/Administration/Printing. To summarize, OOo Writer Print
BUTTON worked fine for one printed copy. Trying to select Print... or
Printer Settings... from the File menu caused repeated hangs / crashes.
