I just tried to recreate this but they happily work together. I realized that your apache is slightly outdated with 2.4.18-2ubuntu3.8 beign current now. But none of the changes since then addressed this issue.
And I see in your logs that on 2018-04-13 13:34:27 you also installed both just fine. Is that reproducible, which means when you run "apt upgrade" it again fails the same way? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1765598 Title: package apache2 2.4.18-2ubuntu3.5 failed to install/upgrade: trying to overwrite '/var/www/html', which is also in package nginx-common 1.10.3-0ubuntu0.16.04.2 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/apache2/+bug/1765598/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
