1 - open openoffice writer
2 - Insert Field Other (or Ctrl-F2), Variables tab
3 - Set variable
        General (or any other format)
        Name: test (or any other name)
        Value: 1 (or any other value)
4 - Insert
5 - Insert Field Other (or Ctrl-F2), Variables tab
6 - Input field
        test
        Reference: test: (or any other text)
7 - Insert
8 - Put some data in the window (note there is not [at this time] any buttons 
below in the Insert field window)
9 - Close
10 - Move the mouse to the Input field you have created, click it
11 - If you change (you has to change) the value and click in OK, openoffice 
will crash (note this time there is 2 buttons below)

Several times.
Same issue in Suse, but not found in Fedora 7 and the window does not display 
the 2 buttons.
Not found in Windows.

Almost all of my documents have input fields that I need to change them
several times and save them with different names.
