Public bug reported:

When I install Ubuntu on my pc, I get an icon of my second harddrive on
my dektop. I would like to have a clean Desktop and the only way I can
think of to get the icon off my desktop is to use gconf-editor. There is
no other way ... This should be possible with an easy rightclick on the
icon and "remove icon" button.
