I think same problem. It's solid, whether in safemode or not. Doesn't happen if I sudo firefox.
"firefox -safemode (gecko:12885): Pango-WARNING **: failed to create cairo scaled font, expect ugly output. the offending font is 'Lucida Grande 8.25' Segmentation fault (core dumped) " I have run "sudo find /usr/share/fonts/truetype/ -iname "*.ttf" -print0 | xargs -0 sudo chmod +r" so all my tt fonts are readable. Makes no difference. I attach a gdb log. ** Attachment added: "gdb log of firefox-dbg at time of seg fault" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/10207854/gdb-firefox.log -- [GUTSY] firefox crashed https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/139875 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
