  To reproduce:
  
  1. Fresh install Xubuntu 18.04
  2. Open Appearance settings and set icon theme to ubuntu-mono-light, or 
Adwaita, or GNOME.
  3. Open Preferred Application settings.
  
  Result: Firefox icon is huge.
