I experience the same problem When I close the lid of my laptop the system freezes, mouse & keyboard doesn't respond. I got the problem since I made a fresh install of gutsy. With feisty everything works fine. I've got a Dell Inspiron 510m with intel 82853/855 GM graphic card.
