Hi to everybody I tried many times today with the new 18.04 LTS, without success (SHA256SUM controlled).
I've followed too recommendations described here : https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UEFI#General_principles I wanted to replace the last 17.10 OS with the new 18.04 LTS version and conserving the /home partition with the same user-name, as I done many times before, but the installation crashes always at the end : "grub- efi-amd64-signed failed installation /target/"... The partition is a gpt one, SecureBoot disabeled in the BIOS, as usual... and the 17.10 version was working fine. My mther board is a J4205-ITX asrock... Any suggestion would be very welcome! -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1749923 Title: ubuntu 18.04 installer crashed at the end of installation alongside a ubuntu 16.04.3 installation To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grub-installer/+bug/1749923/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
