Public bug reported: I chose the option to erase Ubuntu 17.10 to install a fresh copy of Ubuntu Budgie 18.04 and a message eventually came up during the installer, saying GRUB failed to install (although it was already installed from the previous Ubuntu installation). And then the installer crashed, giving me the option to to this bug report.
