I want to say thank you for the team and give you guys a big hug for fixing the issues in the kernel that happens in our kinds of the device! You guys are best!!!! Thank you so much!!!
I have been so depressed ever since I failed to manually install the latest released kernel 4.17 but today, as usual, I booted into Ubuntu to see if I can try some other method to update the latest kernel in order to provide more valuable information and just after few minutes booted in to the desktop, I got an update notification, well, not hurt to give it a try, right. Then, during the update, I noticed some code contains the latest kernel code name and I thought to myself, oh, my god, you didn't... and the surprise come after the reboot, I excitedly to touch the touchpad to see if it's working, which works, but I hold up for a second because there are times touchpad would work for god-knows-what reason, then I went to check out the setting for the touchpad, and there it is!!!! I finally see the setting for the touchpad on my device!!!!! I could literally scream like a maniac if I wasn't in the middle of the class but I still failed to hold up my emotion by throw my hands to the air like yelling "hooray" with no sounds. Anyway, now my kernel version is 'Linux 4.17.0-041700rc3-generic' and there's no issue at all. And thank you guys for the all the hard work, thank you so much!!! Also, there's one severe issue when I tried the Ubuntu 18.04 live that the screen just failed to rotate to the normal direction which I can be very sure it's the problem of the Gnome Desktop because when I tried the Debian 9, I encountered same problem. But I think I should pause for a while since there's no any update about that distribution yet and happily enjoy my just update lovely Ubuntu 16.04 with kernel 4.17. Ok then, thank you guys again!!!!
