Public bug reported: no raid , just a partition with swap formatted with gparted all test fine but each time i try to install from live dvd 3times and another 4times with a usb live bootable. gets only so far and errors cause failure. wont load grub this last time. first for that error. others were bad media from usb attempts. it should not be this troublesome. i am not new to linux either. but have only used mint lts and am at 18.3 in my other computer. wanted to try out ubuntu 18 in a windows 10 dual boot set up. separate hard drives. this is bionic beaver 18.04 live dvd. looks good but wasted hours and no luck yet
