The verification comment #27 does not make it clear if the test was performed on affected hardware or not. Was it? If yes, please clarify. Also, the test case in the description lists 4 different test cases that should be performed on the system - it's not clear if those have been done or not. 'Our CI' is not necessarily what is needed to verify the fix.
Also, comment #28 seems to indicate that the fix does NOT work. Can anyone confirm?
