Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gdm
When I try to shutdown the system using the button provided by gdm, the system freeze and I can see only a blank screen (the monitor remains switched on). The only way to stop the system is to press the power button for long time. I don't have any problem using the shutdown function of Gnome. Probably this is a bug of gdm and it could lead to a data loss. Feel free to ask if you need more details.
