Thank you, I wasn't sure if crash in XrmQGetResource was the same as
crash in XGetDefault, but just noticed that the workaround mentioned in
#1720905 (starting putty with 'sudo -u MY_USER putty') works for me too.
I'll upgrade to Bionic where it's fixed, if I understand correctly.
