Public bug reported: Binary package hint: totem
After some good help from the Forums, I have sound on my Gateway Solo 2500 laptop. Inserting an audio CD brings up the player and music is heard - but only for the first track. At the end of track 1, the player quits and hangs. Onboard sound-chip is Yamaha OPL3SA2x. It has been configured and recognized. Totem version 2.20.0 using xine-lib v. 1.1.7 and Gnome. OS: xubuntu. Hope this helps.
