Hi, I have an HP Spectre x360 and I've got the same boot error: Jun 09 17:15:56 behemoth kernel: i2c_hid i2c-ELAN0732:00: failed to change power setting.
However, my touchscreen is working without any problem, as well as the HP Active Pen that this laptop brings.
