I can confirm that running `sudo apt-get remove ubiquity-slideshow- ubuntu` finally worked for me.
The only difference between this time and last time is that I ran it when the install screen was already launched (the initial screen, not the final one with the slideshow), which lead to a broken link page where the slideshow used to be. I also moved my cursor every 5 minutes to prevent the screen from sleeping. Not sure if it'll work for anybody else, but it worked for me! -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1777504 Title: Ubiquity crashed during the install of Ubuntu 18.04.
