I'm using v52.8.0 now. The problem seems to be solved -- partly: * The top folder of a hierarchy which contains unread mails is still bold, and now it's additionally colored blue and shows a golden asterisk on its icon.
* The folder which really contains the unread mails is bold and colored, too, and shows the number of unread mails in brackets, as before. Please see the attached screen shot. ** Attachment added: "Thunderbird folder appearance" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/thunderbird/+bug/379015/+attachment/5157406/+files/thunderbird-folders.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/379015 Title: Asterisk showing new messages is not shown at topmost level To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/thunderbird/+bug/379015/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
