I also stried to use te autostart/add on option in preferences but still no luck. I can only start it manually bu doing sudo nm-applet in the command line. very annoying as it was working fine till the last update. Sth's wrong with the last update as i can't have my thunderbird icon on taskbar appear on log on. i used firestarter add on on mozilla thunderbird to minimise thunderbird to task bar on exit. that has gone as well.thanks koli To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager-applet/+bug/1423802/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
