Hello, I have to say it happens very rarely with newer versions, it's much more stable on my computer. But on another slower computer, it tend to happen more frequently. I have found a workaround, which is deleting all local cache of evolution, forcing it to resync the messages.
I can give you a mail account on my server if it helps for testing it out. Might be the server/client combination problem too.
