16 month old silicon.


Nah this is too long.
Firstly, nothing should need to be done in linux in any capacity, there should 
be a bios flag that fixes it.
Second, the bios flag should be on at all times
Third, based on my second point, as long as someone has the latest firmware, it 
should 100% solve the problem.

Users should not need to mess around for stability, that is not
acceptable.
