I have the same issue than Severn Clay. When I'm using my Broadcom 4306 eventually my keyboard locks up but I can still use my computer with the mouse. The only thing that work in the keyboard are the Ctrl + Alt + SysRq combinations which are needed because, when I try to restart with the keyboard locked it usually freezes when it displays: " * Now It will restart."
