Public bug reported: It's the same copying a file from another partition to the ntfs one or just downloading a torrent in that partition, ntfs-3g takes 100% of my cpu and my pc slows down a lot even doing almost nothing... I had this issue after the upgrade to gutsy and a new install won't fix the problem... htop shows that:
/sbin/mount.ntfs-3g /dev/sda4 /mnt/Archive -o rw, locale=it_IT.UTF-8 i think it's a problem of the partition itself because the new install won't mount the partition and i did it by hand after the installation. Please let me know how to fix it, my pc is almost unusable ** Affects: ntfs-3g (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- ntfs-3g takes 100% of my cpu https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/159705 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
