One thing of interest is that suspend resume works perfectly using s2ram. I had submitted the whitelist entry for it, upstream - http://suspend.cvs.sourceforge.net/suspend/suspend/whitelist.c?view=log - the relevant section is :
/* Rohan Dhruva <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> */ { "Acer, inc.", "TravelMate 3260 ", "", "", VBE_POST|VBE_MODE }, Which says my card requires VBE_POST and VBE_MODE quirks. The same entry is present on the hal quirks site for my laptop. Maybe this bug is occurring on ubuntu due to lack of these quirks on a plain ubuntu install ? Please tell me how can I help more in getting this bug closed :) -- System unusable after resume from suspend or hibernate https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/133677 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
