The `gnome-shell --replace' workaround seems to fix this bug for me. However, this causes a new bug when I lock the laptop. After locking I cannot enter my password and it is as if someone is holding down the enter key and the words 'Authentication Error' flashes up.
I am using a Dell Inspiron 17 and Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS. The Gnome version is GNOME Shell 3.28.2. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1725384 Title: On touch screens, the apps icon in the dock does not open when touched To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/dash-to-dock/+bug/1725384/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
