Hi guys, the problem no longer exists until trusty tahr. I would like to reiterate that synaptic is a fundamental application for Ubuntu, since it allows to obtain a lot of information on package management that the software center does not give and is a valid alternative to using the terminal.
If I can add, a very useful function is that of real-time search for packages, which is obtained only by installing the apt-xapian-index package (python3-xapian), so it should be installed as a dependency. Thanks again for everything you do.
