FYI, I just updated https://help.ubuntu.com/community/HardwareSupportComponentsWirelessNetworkCardsLinksys with info from http://jelnet.free.fr/jlnt_lwmp.htm which explains: There are 3 different cards called "WMP54G" with totally different chipsets and drivers. Any bugs are probably different for each of them. It is therefore very important to know if you have a revision 1.0/2.0/3.0 or 4.0 or 4.1. (Thanks goes to Linksys for being so clear and informative with their product marketing/labeling.)
