I tried reseting the profile going here: chrome://settings/resetProfileSettings It didn't help. Later, I deleted this folder: /home/user/.config/chromium Upon next launch, Chromium recreated that folder (fresh), but the issue remains (still can't add folders to the bookmarks-bar without lockup). I've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Still no progress.
