The position_fix value is a part of the line you added: snd-hda-intel position_fix=1 model=6stack Although this deals with DMA pointers and shouldn't be the cause of your problem.

How many audio jacks? Is there an SPDIF jack? Are you on a laptot? Select the best option from the list.
