The bug here, if there is one, is that Firefox's installation for Flash 9 apparently didn't remove Flash 7. For some reason, these coexisted in the version of Firefox that was in Feisty, but apparently do not in the one that's in Gutsy. Given this change in behaviour in your app, you should detect the condition and inform the user.
