I am seeing this in Ubuntu 18.04 when using the GUI to print from many
applications (gnome pdf viewer, Chrome, etc), but, when printing from
the command line using lpr, I get the correct page count. I just tried
printing out 3 2-page documents, and my printer spat out 9 copies before
I killed power to it. Yesterday I tried printing 24 copies, and got over
50 before I killed the printer.

I'm using an HP Laserjet Pro MFP M225dn.

Since lpr works correctly, this appears to solely be a problem with the
GUI print interface.
