Strange... Is there really almost the same laptops with Metapod_RR motherboard? Mine have 38-46C idle temp and 72C while gaming with AC plugged. With TLP Ubuntu reports for 5+ hours estimated battery runtime (idle, almost minimum brightness; 4h without TLP). Or 3 hours of FHD video in VLC. So real battery life is somewhere between. On Windows 10 I had similar results, but used it for few days. Only problem is higher battery drain after sleep-resume.
