I cannot observe the issue as I don't have a valid customer number to
test with.
Can you try running firefox with the environment variable GTK_IM_MODULE
unset, and let us know if that makes a difference (wondering whether
that's related to bug #1803631) ? You can do that by closing firefox and
then running the following command in a terminal:
GTK_IM_MODULE= firefox
