I also cannot understand how creating an intrusive directory that cannot be moved in a users home directory is acceptable.
Hoping for a fix coming soon as a software I have to use frequently is only available on Ubuntu through snap installation at the moment. To currently circumvent snap I am using the windows version of the application in a virtualbox image. Would be nice to run a snap (that does not create a snap directory in my home directory). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1575053 Title: Please move the "$HOME/snap" directory to a less obtrusive location To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/snapd/+bug/1575053/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
