Hi This is not a bug in the Debian/Ubuntu TeXstudio package and will therefore not be fixed.
You are trying to install a package that is not part of and therefore not maintained by Debian/Ubuntu. In the PPA-Version of TeXstudio everything is packaged into one package while in Debian/Ubuntu TeXstudio is split into several packages: * texstudio * texstudio-doc * texstudio-l10n The advantage of the package split is that you can choose which components to install (no need to install -doc if you do not use them and no need to install -l10n if you only use the english language). If you really intend to switch to the PPA package you need to deinstall every Debian/Ubuntu TeXstudio package before installing the PPA package.
