I am essentially a non-technical user, but open source appeals to me so
I am happy to contribute what I can. Unfortunately, the culture at
Ubuntu is incomprehensible to me and I have effectively given up. When
they say that Linux has a steep learning curve they are not joking, but
I am always prepared to learn. But then I find out incompatibilities
between apt, synaptic and "ubuntu software" and I throw up my hands in
disgust. And now there is snap installs which is different from regular
installs of which nobody told me. Do you people think I am clairvoyant
or what? So, no, I do not know what my problem is. I find something
that is wrong, I tell you about about, I expect you to fix it and I
refuse to accept responsibility for something that I don't understand.
If you want my cooperation then you will need to protect me from bugs
that should have been caught during testing.
