This problem occurs on my system.  At first when I upgraded from 7.04 to
7.10 mounting my windows disk worked (just double clicked on the drive
icon in nautilus).  However now it does not work.  I do not have evms
installed so it can't be related to that.

What's worse is the way NTFS-3g is integrated in 7.10, manually
performing a "mount -t ntfs /dev/sdb1 /mnt" doesn't allow me to use the
old read-only kernel driver.
