Public bug reported: When scanning a document and then saving it as a PDF file, the default name is (for French users) "Document numérisé.pdf". I guess because of the accented characters, a dialog box appears 3 (indeed, 3!) times warning this file name is invalid. The user has to close each of these 3 dialog boxes before being able to access to the "Save as..." dialog box, change the default file name for one without accents and, finally, save its document.
I suggest to replace "Document numérisé.pdf" by just "Document.pdf" or by "Document numerise.pdf". ** Affects: simple-scan (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1810765 Title: Invalid default name when saving To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/simple-scan/+bug/1810765/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
