Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

Create a new Custom Application Launcher to run eclipse, specifying the
path to the eclipse binary.

When I run it I get this error:
A Java Runtime Environment (JRE) or Java Development Kit (JDK)
must be available in order to run Eclipse. No Java virtual machine
was found after searching the following locations:
/home/lachlan/eclipse/jre/bin/java
java in your current PATH

But if run that same binary from the command line, it starts eclipse, no
problem.

I did not export any extra environment settings to the terminal I am
running from.

This was working in Fiesty, and broke after upgrading to Gutsy. I re-
created the launcher, but it has the same result.

** Affects: gnome-panel (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
