Public bug reported: The package installs native-messaging-hosts/com.dannyvankooten.browserpass.json in /etc/chromium, but it should use /etc/chromium-browser. As a consequence, the browser extension can not find the native helper program. Moving the native-messaging-hosts/com.dannyvankooten.browserpass.json to /etc/chromium-browser after installation solves the problem.
