Public bug reported: Hi,
There was a bug in libmicrodns that caused VLC media player to segfault while hovering over the "renderer" menu to cast media to a chromecast, that was fixed in Debian. https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=893284 It happens for me when I'm connected to a VPN and I hover over the menu. Since it was fixed in Debian, is it possible for the fix to be backported to Ubuntu 18.04 LTS?
