Since this fixes the problem in various scenarios we can probably instead mark as ferification-done, since it doesn't cause any regrassion anyway while works in some setups.
So, would probably better to reopen this later instead (or use another bug) not to block the SRU. Anyway, Bryce, can you give us context about your hw (graphic card, drivers, ppas? and versions)?
