I would like to add that I noticed quite weird connection between this
issue and SD card reader in nuc. When the reader was disabled in bios,
the issue persists and when it's enabled, the issue does not occur. More
info here in the community thread in Intel forum:
https://forums.intel.com/s/question/0D50P00004D4D6BSAV/really-weird-
problem-in-ethernet-adapter-in-nuc8i5beh-help-needed-in-debugging

I returned my nuc so this is no more important for me, but clearly there
is some bugs in device-bios-driver combo. Propably enabling sd card
reader disables some power saving feture and because of tht the bug is
not visible?
