For now you can do one of three things: 1) mask the fwupd systemd service if you don't use it for anything. This will stop it from running. 2) Modify the plugin blacklist in /etc/fwupd/daemon.conf to blacklist the ebitdo plugin 3) Backport that fix manually https://github.com/hughsie/fwupd/commit/76bdc8c3
