I'm running do-release-upgrade on 14.04 to get to 16.04. This is one of the errors that appears. E: Version ‘2.02.133-1ubuntu10’ for ‘libdevmapper1.02.1’ was not found https://packages.ubuntu.com/xenial/libdevmapper1.02.1 suggests libdevmapper1.02.1 (2:1.02.110-1ubuntu10) is available with the source package being lvm2_2.02.133-1ubuntu10.
Why is 2.02.133 being referenced when 1.02.110 is what's available? Also, this bug is of 'critical' importance but has seen no action since 2016. :-( -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1539689 Title: package lvm2 2.02.133-1ubuntu4 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lvm2/+bug/1539689/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
