Yea, i'm stuck stuck on my Lenovo P1 just like #45, even after copying over.
/EFI/BOOT/grubx64.efi to /EFI/BOOT/mmx64.efi This time the Lenovo Logo doesn't disappear and I don't have those errors but it's just sitting there and the grub doesn't show up.
