Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. The sbackup package is no longer provided in recent versions of Ubuntu. If you're still having this problem with supported LTS releases, please post back here. This sounds like an interesting setup that sbackup has probably never accounted for. I'll make the bug public in case anybody can comment on it before it expires (I don't see any sensitive content).
