I have a Amilo Pro V2030 It has a 1024x768 LCD and the VIA Technologies, Inc. UniChrome Pro IGP (rev 01) (PCI-ID 1106:3344 )
the hardware detectiton of the install was not good. The installer chose "vesa" @ 800x600 I did use a self-compiled openchrome driver on Ubuntu 6.06LTS. Now on Ubuntu 7.10 I use the packages libviaxvmc1 libviaxvmcpro1 xserver-xorg-video-openchrome 2D works stable.
